Engineering is at the forefront of everything we do at the Harwell Campus. Whether its designing, building and testing new equipment and instruments to be launched into space, creating new detectors and components for particle accelerators, or even implementing large scale computing hardware to store billions of bits of information. Anyone can become an Engineer and there’s no better time to start your journey.

Satellites and Spacecraft
RAL Space operate a wide range of test facilities and clean room space for the development, assembly and testing of space bound hardware from small components to small satellites and large instruments. The brand new National Satellite Test Facility which has just opened at Harwell aims to help space companies raise confidence in satellite performance whilst also simplifying test campaigns to reduce risk and improve turnaround time between tests. Below we have some great resources encompassing all aspects of design, testing and launching spacecraft and satellites, brought to you from organisations across the UK and beyond.
